Power Plant Home

General Dynamics Aviation Services’ powerplant expertise keeps your aircraft flying better — and longer.

It's inevitable. You can expect numerous powerplant overhauls — including MPIs and CZIs — during the lifetime of your aircraft. The better your aviation services, the longer you can expect to fly your business aircraft.

That’s why GDAS is a smart choice.

With five convenient site locations, GDAS offers comprehensive powerplant services, including full line maintenance, unscheduled repairs, routine inspections and engine removal for overhaul. Over the years, we have completed hundreds of engine changes.

GDAS is authorized to service the engines most commonly installed in mid- and large-cabin business aircraft. We have all the necessary ratings to work on Challenger, Falcon, Gulfstream and Hawker.

Experienced Technicians

GDAS employs more than 30 highly skilled factory-trained A&P technicians, including some veterans with more than 25 years of powerplant experience. Our level of knowledge is unsurpassed within the aviation services industry. This goes a long way toward meeting your high service expectations with squawk-free on-time delivery.

Authorized Warranty Centers

All GDAS sites are authorized to provide powerplant warranty maintenance for Honeywell, GE, Rolls Royce, Pratt & Whitney, CFE and others. Our relationships with these companies go back decades, giving you the added benefit of that experience.

The GDAS Advantage

Take advantage. Scheduling other GDAS services — including enhancements and refurbishment — to coincide with routine powerplant maintenance and inspections can maximize our productivity and minimize your downtime.

No-Surprises Quoting

We quote your overhaul, MPI or CZI prior to your arrival. This flat rate will not change. There are no pricing surprises at GDAS. Just satisfied customers.

Effective Troubleshooting

GDAS invests heavily in powerplant tooling and testing equipment. We are prepared to troubleshoot and then perform line maintenance, repairs and complete powerplant removal and reinstallation. We work closely with overhaul facilities to save you time and money.

Don’t you want GDAS working for you?
