Your APU provides in-flight backup power. Don't you deserve GDAS APU support?

It’s your backup power, your air-conditioning, your electricity and your power for engine starts. Proper APU function is critical to the safe operation of your aircraft. You need to make the right choice when it comes to APU service and support.

That choice is GDAS.

Whether you fly Challenger, Falcon, Hawker, Gulfstream or other advanced business aircraft, GDAS offers you expert, efficient APU service and support. Each of our FAA-licensed technicians averages 20 years of APU experience on all types of business aircraft.

The GDAS commitment to quality has earned us respect and enabled us to develop important industry relationships. We are the exclusive provider of Hamilton Sundstrand APU support in business aircraft and have been since 2004. We’re also the only authorized Hamilton Sundstrand warranty center.

When your aircraft is here, we can identify – and/or repair – various other problems at the same time. You get more done in one visit. And that means less downtime for you.

When it comes to APUs, GDAS does it all, including servicing Honeywell APUs.

Hamilton Sundstrand: A GDAS Exclusive

GDAS is your one source for Hamilton Sundstrand APUs, providing both major service and line maintenance. We are exclusively responsible for Hamilton Sundstrand technical support worldwide as well as parts distribution, customer training, repairs, publications, technical assistance and AOG support.

In fact, GDAS trains other technicians — including those outside GDAS — to work on Hamilton Sundstrand APUs. As a service to our customers, GDAS provides 24/7 support for Hamilton Sundstrand APU components. Our technicians are on call to help you solve APU problems and provide technical support. You get the benefit of their expertise at no charge. Call any time.

It’s obvious. GDAS knows Hamilton Sundstrand. Doesn’t it make sense to go with the company that trains everybody else?

Major Service and Line Maintenance Support

GDAS APU service is comprehensive. We handle repair, maintenance and replacement with expertise and efficiency. On heavy jobs — such as turbine assembly repairs, rotor balancing, Electronic Sequence Unit (ESU) and Line Replaceable Unit (LRU) repairs, and reliability upgrades — the average shop visit ranges from seven to 10 days.

Our line maintenance support includes parts, APU inspections, preventative maintenance, APU and component replacement, and troubleshooting.

Technical Manuals

GDAS is your exclusive source for Hamilton Sundstrand APU component and training manuals. We maintain and update the manuals in our electronic library. Organized by model, these manuals are available by subscription at myGDAS.com. To initiate your subscription click here.

We Keep It in Stock

GDAS maintains an extensive spare-parts inventory and a large pool of exchange and rental APUs, ready for same-day shipment. Our electronic repair technician works full time to keep ESU and STAB (Speed, Temperature, and Air Bleed) boxes repaired and in service. This is a challenging business. Many of the internal parts are obsolete and difficult to obtain. Our technician and buyers work closely with our vendors to keep parts supplies available.

Passing the Test

GDAS runs every APU in our test cell to validate performance before it is certified and returned to service. We also utilize the test cell for troubleshooting unusual APU performance issues, ESU fault code verification, and pinpointing fluid leaks.

A Leader in Innovation

GDAS developed the GDAS Universal APU fuel pump and fuel control test bench to support our APU services. This state-of-the-art fuel bench is capable of calibrating and testing fuel controls and pumps from various manufacturers, including Hamilton Sundstrand and Honeywell.

No-charge Loaners

When your Electronic Sequence Unit (ESU) or Speed, Temperature and Air Bleed (STAB) box is in our shop for repair, GDAS will provide you with a no-charge loaner until we've fixed your component. We have also developed specialized test equipment to assist in the troubleshooting process. Our customers can rent or borrow these tools and perform the analysis at their own location.

Customer Training

GDAS provides formal APU Line Maintenance training. We offer two-day courses for the Gemini and T39/T40 series. This training is FAA approved, and our schedule is on the GDAS Web site.
