GENERAL DYNAMICS AVIATION SERVICES APPOINTS VINCE JIMENEZ, MARK WHITE REGIONAL PRODUCT SUPPORT SALES MANAGERS

SAVANNAH, Ga., June 28, 2010 – General Dynamics Aviation Services has named Vince Jimenez and Mark White component repair and overhaul regional sales managers for Product Support Sales. Both support the General Dynamics Aviation Services California facility in Lincoln.
General Dynamics Aviation Services is a wholly owned subsidiary of General Dynamics. Located about 30 miles northeast of Sacramento, General Dynamics Aviation Services California specializes in aircraft components, specifically the repair and overhaul of AC/DC generators, alternators, generator control units, converters, static inverters, contactors, navigation lights and cockpit instruments.
Jimenez, based in Long Beach, Calif., has the western and midwestern United States as his sales territory for General Dynamics Aviation Services California. A longtime Gulfstream Long Beach employee, Jimenez started as a senior dispatcher in March 1999, was promoted to material planner and eventually became a service center scheduler, a position he had for nearly three years.
Gulfstream is also a wholly owned subsidiary of General Dynamics.
Jimenez has also held positions with Boeing and McDonnell Douglas. He has an associate’s degree in art from Long Beach City College.
White has nearly a decade of aviation sales experience, including five years as a senior spare parts sales administrator at the General Dynamics Aviation Services and Gulfstream facilities in Dallas. His sales territory is Texas, Nebraska and the entire East Coast.
White was a sales manager at Aircraft Supply Co. in Dallas from 2002-2004 and has an extensive background in construction management and telecommunications. He earned an associate’s degree from Trinity Valley Community College in Texas.
