GENERAL DYNAMICS AVIATION SERVICES-LINCOLN RECEIVES EUROPEAN AVIATION SAFETY AGENCY APPROVAL FOR PARTS REPAIRS AND OVERHAUL

Approval Enhances California Facility’s Product Support Capabilities

SAVANNAH, Ga., September 9, 2009 – The General Dynamics Aviation Services facility in Lincoln, Calif., recently received approval from the European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) to perform component-level maintenance for generators, alternators, convertors and instruments on aircraft registered for operation in European Union countries. The approval applies to Gulfstream business-jet aircraft and a number of non-Gulfstream aircraft, including Bombardier, Dassault Falcon and Hawker Beechcraft.

The Lincoln facility, which is approximately 30 miles northeast of Sacramento, is the only General Dynamics Aviation Services site that specializes in electrical component repairs and overhaul. The 34,000-square-foot facility employs 24 technicians with a combined 362 years of experience.
