GENERAL DYNAMICS AVIATION SERVICES
MAINTENANCE CENTER RECEIVES HAWKER 800XP RATING

West Palm Beach Aircraft Service Center to Work on Hawker 800XPs

SAVANNAH, Ga., Sept. 2, 2003 – General Dynamics Aviation Services’ West Palm Beach service center has received approval from the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) to perform maintenance on Hawker 800XP business jets.

“ By earning this rating, we’re providing Hawker 800 operators more choice when it comes to their aircraft maintenance,” said Larry Flynn, president, General Dynamics Aviation Services. “We’ve already been approached by a few Hawker 800XP operators, requesting that we provide maintenance services for their aircraft. We’re confident that with the quality and expediency with which we perform our work, these new customers will evolve into regular customers.”

Earlier this year, the General Dynamics Aviation Services’ West Palm Beach, Fla., maintenance center received Challenger 600, 601 and 604 ratings from the FAA.

“ After receiving the Challenger rating we experienced a marked increase in Challenger work,” Flynn said. “We expect the same scenario to occur now that we have the new Hawker rating.”

In addition to Hawker aircraft, the General Dynamics Aviation Services’ West Palm Beach service center performs service and maintenance on Challenger, Citation, Falcon, Gulfstream, Learjet and other business aircraft.
