Services recently appointed Brian Wells as general manager of
its Las Vegas aircraft service center.
Wells, who has 23 years of corporate aircraft experience,
began his aviation career in 1980 as a crew chief in the U.S.
Air Force, performing maintenance on Jetstars and Sabreliners.
Following six years of military service, he joined a business
jet manufacturer in Europe where he performed maintenance on special-mission
aircraft.
Wells spent five years with Gulfstream as a field
service representative, overseeing the maintenance on the military's
C-20A (GIV) aircraft in Europe. Under contract with another aviation-related
company, Wells continued with the C-20A program for another three
years. He joined General Dynamics Aviation Services as Gulfstream
product line leader at its Westfield, Mass., facility in 1998.
After serving three years in Westfield, Wells was appointed operations
manager for General Dynamics Aviation Services, Las Vegas. Wells
has held an airframe and powerplant (A&P) license for 17 years.

eligible technicians and employees with Bronze, Silver, Gold,

was recognized by FAA as one of only 61 aircraft maintenance facilities
worldwide that had 100 percent of its maintenance technicians
participate in the AMT program.
